Medical Work Experience and Hospital Volu
Do your Future Medics have plans this
summer?
This June, July and August sees 850 pupils from over 700
schools around the world going on a Gap Medics placement to Tanzania, Thailand
or The Czech Republic to work in our partner hospitals and experience life as a
doctor to give them a valuable insight into their future
careers.
There’s still a little space left so if you have pupils
aged 16-18 interested in careers in medicine, nursing, midwifery or dentistry
then direct them to the Gap Medics website to give them the best head start in
their future careers.
Gap Medics programmes can be started on any weekend of
the year and most students join us for 2-weeks. Students all live together in
our safe, secure Gap Medics houses, all fully staffed with the Gap Medics team
to ensure they have a great stay with us.
During the week they learn as much as possible about
life in a working hospital, attend clinical teaching sessions and come away from
the experience fully prepared for their applications and
interviews.
