Open events and visiting
University open days:
- Wednesday 26th June
- Thursday 27th June
- Friday 20th September
Come and see us and find out for yourself what Oxford is really like
We hope very much that you will be able to visit during one of our open days, but if this is not possible, you are still welcome to visit the University at anytime. Most colleges are open throughout the year, at least for potential applicants to walk around the grounds. Unfortunately, departments are rarely open to visitors except during open days. If you have questions about a particular college or department you might like to contact them before you visit as it's not always possible to arrange personal meetings, especially during term-time.
Introducing Oxford talks and tours
Over the UK school Easter holidays we are offering introductory talks and college tours for students interested in applying to Oxford. Booking is essential. Details are below.
Tutors (lecturers) from several departments will give admissions talks specific to their course. The general talk will give an overview of the undergraduate courses, the college system and the application process. It is not necessary to attend a course-specific talk and the general talk. We advise you to attend one talk and to visit two colleges.
