Morrisby Profiling - sessions available at Hockerill on Saturday 8th June 1-4pm

Morrisby Profile (MP)

Our flagship product and one of the most widely-known systems used in careers guidance today - for over 50 years the Morrisby Profile has been at the forefront of assessing aptitudes, learning styles and personal working styles, to inform career choice.
The integrated nature of the profile enables a depth of analysis that is not available in other vocational assessment systems. Essential to its lasting appeal has been continual refinement and improvement, which has led to the Morrisby Profile becoming the most established and sophisticated system for careers guidance available.
Although the scores on the assessments allow clients to be compared with each other, the shape of the resulting psychological ‘profile’ is used to show a client's own strengths and underlying abilities. The scientific analysis of this profile provides genuine insights into potential future work performance, which goes far beyond any analysis of interests alone.

Who is it for?

The Morrisby Profile has been designed to help individuals who are making important decisions about their future education and/or career. And in the hands of trained HR professionals making important selection decisions, it also provides a powerful system for assessing job applicants.

What is involved?

A series of paper and pencil assessments taken during a profiling session, including 12 exercises: 8 ability, 4 personal style.

Morrisby Guidance Service (MGS)

The Morrisby Guidance Service (MGS) is an all embracing careers guidance service that is built around the Morrisby Profile. As important as it might be to know what a person is interested in, it is also important to consider what they have the potential to 'do'. By supplementing the objective analysis delivered by the Morrisby Profile with additional study and work interests, and academic achievements, the MGS is able to deliver clients with a comprehensive, holistic and individually tailored analysis on which to base their future careers decisions.

Who is it for?

Careers advisers and school staff use the MGS in schools to assist students with their subject, course and career choices. Other careers professionals use the MGS to assist individuals of all ages seeking guidance or facing important decisions about their careers. So, whether using the MGS in school to help make those key decisions, or whether using the MGS in outplacement situations or for personal development, our Student and Adult MGS reports are the most comprehensive, objective and personalised careers guidance reports available.

What is involved?

  • Morrisby Profile: A series of paper and pencil assessments taken during a profiling session, including 12 exercises: 8 ability, 4 personal style.
  • Morrisby Careers Questionnaire (MCQ). May be taken at home, at a school, or at a centre.

"Apart from the accuracy of the suggestions in my sons’ Morrisby Profile reports, my own profile very accurately assessed the job I currently do and love, so as a family, we can really attest to the value of the MP".
