Law Residential Open Day at Trinity – 2-3 July 2013
Law Residential Open Day at Trinity: 2-3 July 2013
Building on our successful Law Residential last year (read more here) we’re really excited to be hosting our second Law Residential Open Day at Trinity for Year 12 students who would like to find out more about studying Law in Cambridge.
The Residential includes one night’s accommodation on 2 July, as well as lunch, dinner and breakfast in Trinity, and it is free of charge. It has been planned to tie in with the afternoon events of the Law Faculty Open Day on 3 July, to allow participants to get an in-depth understanding of the Cambridge Law course.
Itinerary
Beginning at 11.30am on 2 July, the day will involve lectures, workshops and a tour of Trinity College’s facilities. Activities will be led by Law Fellows of the College and will also include a chance to meet Trinity Law students. Participants will then spend the night in Trinity’s student accommodation, getting a real feel for what it’s like to live and study in Cambridge.
The next morning, participants will have time to explore the city centre and visit neighbouring colleges. In the afternoon, they will be able to attend faculty-run events as part of the Law Faculty Open Day from 1pm – 4.20pm, in order to find out more about Law from a University-wide perspective.
How to Apply
The Law Faculty Open Day on 3 July must be booked separately from the Residential at Trinity, so students who wish to attend both events (which we strongly recommend) will need to complete two separate application forms.
Places are limited so please book as early as possible. Booking closes on 28 June but it is advisable to book earlier to ensure your place.
If you have any questions about the Trinity Law Residential Open Day, please contact Rosie Sharkey at schools.liaison@trin.cam.ac.uk.
