Universita Bocconi is one of Italy's most respected universities. Its reputation in the areas of economic and finance is known around the world. Bocconi is a highly selective university and it has a strong desire to increase the number of international students taking part in its bachelor programmes. If you are considering applying to the very best universities in the United Kingdom, we recommend that you look at what Bocconi has to offer.
Dear Ms,

We bring you exciting news of a fantastic opportunity for students interested in studying business, economics and finance at university.

Universita Bocconi in Milan, Italy organise the Discover Your Talent week to give international students a flavour of what studying at the Bocconi is like and whether the University is for them.

Last year 14 British students took advantage of this opportunity and some of them are enrolling there this October to take their full undergraduate degree.
If you know of students who are giving serious thought to studying economics at university we are confident that they will find this a once in a lifetime opportunity that you will not want to miss.

Please pass on this information to relevant students and teachers of economics, maths and business.

How does it work?

Students who are interested in attending the summer week must be in their second to last year of sixth form or college. They should be taking their AS levels this summer. They must be intending to study maths and/or economics to A level and will be expected to achieve at least a B grade in all your subjects.

Students also need to demonstrate a good "grade point average" which basically means they need to have good GCSE grades (certainly A or A*grades in most subjects).

If one of your students wishes to attend the summer school there is an online application form where they can start the procedure. A teacher's letter of recommendation may be required - usually we find that economics teachers need to be involved but it may be possible through Sixth Form tutors or Head of Year.

The deadline for applications is Tuesday 30th April 2013.

Students will be notified in mid-May if they are successful.

There is no cost involved in attending the Discover Your Talent week.
Students will have to pay for the cost of getting to Milan from the UK and their accommodation for the week but meals (lunch and dinner) are included free of charge from Monday 1st July to Friday 5th July.

For further information please feel free to contact A Star Future or Universita Bocconi directly. You can reach them by phone: 00 39 025836 5819 or email.

If your students are looking for world class higher education opportunities in economics and finance then this could be one of the best chances they get to experience it. I wish them all luck with the application process and I hope to hear from any student who takes up this chance to study in Milan.

Best regards,
